At Bandycoop we are committed to maintaining your privacy and your trust. All users of Bandycoop are covered by the following Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, protect, use and share information about you when you use the Bandycoop website (the "Site"). The e-mail address you use to join Bandycoop is private. Other Bandycoop users cannot see this address. It will, however, be used:

• By Bandycoop to send notification if a potential employer wishes to contact you.
• By Bandycoop to send notification if another member is trying to contact you.
• By Bandycoop to periodically send news and information about the site.

We will never sell or divulge your email address to a third party. If a potential employer or site member is trying to contact you, you must take the initiative to inform them how you would like them to reach you by responding to them directly.

Your MyPage is completely private. No one can see the information on this page except you.

Professional Profile

You determine the information for your Professional Profile. Please consider carefully the information you include. Be aware that certain personal profile information, once entered, is displayed for all Members and cannot be hidden. Specifically, your name, photo, location (metro area selected at time of register), area of expertise, and what type of work you are interested in.

If you mark your profile page PRIVATE, only potential employers who have paid a fee will be able to view your contact (address, city, state, and weblink), education, and employment history. Other site members will only see your name, metro area, area of expertise, and what type of work you are interested in.

If you mark your profile page PUBLIC, any site visitor can view any information you place on your Professional Profile and potentially use it to contact you.

Contacts

When any member wishes to contact another member (contactor), a private e-mail is first sent to the recipient (contactee) notifying them that a contact is requested. The recipient must then respond to the contactor directly with a means of contact or add the contactor to their list of contacts on Bandycoop. All further contact between the contactor and contactee is beyond the control of Bandycoop and Bandycoop is not to be held liable for any claims or activities negotiated between the contactor and contactee.

Submitted Content

Any information, personal or otherwise, submitted by you on Bandycoop forums, message boards, content pages, article entries, feedback comments, or success stories, becomes the property of Bandycoop and can be used throughout the site or for public relations purposes by Bandycoop. This information will never be sold to a third party.

A Note About International Users. The Bandycoop Site is hosted in the United States. If you are using the Site from outside the United States, by providing your information to this Site, you are consenting to the transfer of your information to the United States for processing and maintaining in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. You are also consenting to the application of United States law in all matters concerning this Site.
