Write short articles, rate other’s work, get paid a share of the revenue. Inlcudes a marketplace where publishers post requests for articles and pay for the ones they select.

I posted several articles to Helium but have never tried a contest or marketplace article. As such, I only made about $5.00 and never reached payout. I do like their interface and basic business model, but I didn't like having to spend so much time rating other articles. If you don't rate, you can't get paid. I've noticed that they are doing more upfront commissions and seem to have more paid articles to write for now - maybe I was just too soon.
