I am just starting my own accounting company from my home. I thought it would be nice to get to know women doing the same or even women who do something similar. We can help each other out or just share good stories.

I see a lot of jobs requiring quick books expertise. Is there a certification program for Quickbooks for those of us who don't have a lot of experience with this software?
There are several good accounting software packages that I've seen used by remote workers. My favorite so far is the package from Great Plains Software. What packages do you have and use from home?
